Elba
Elba is a type family created in 2016 within the Type@Cooper Condensed type design program, offered by Cooper Union in New York, NY. Elba is a multipurpose sans–serif, which despite its utilitarian conception seeks to maintain a warm and accessible character. Its strokes and stylistic features refer to the broad nib calligraphy casually alluding to the humanistic type structures. Elba was designed to be used in applications requiring an adequate visual performance in open spaces. The family has 12 styles that range from Hairline to Black in Italics and Romans.
